Responsibilities: As part of the payload group my responsibilities include developing a release mechanism that can withhold the required load for the IMechE competition, other duties include calculating the speed of the parachute whilst it deploys with the load and determine the size of the parachute required for the targeted deployment speed.

Responsibilities: Working as a team member to design, build, and test a protective modular to carry two bags of flour. To Review the designs that created by undergraduate students to ensure it meets the rule specification. Also finding the best releasing mechanism to drop each payload individually without affecting the statbility of the drone whilst its flight. To investigating and finding an appropriate size of parachute to keep the payload intact during and after impact with the ground. Finally to communicate with other subgroup members to ensure our design is interfacing properly with the whole drone.
